Mechanical range of the Citroën C5 AirCross

As with the latest launches of the PSA Group , the Citroën C5 AirCross will do so with a modern mechanical range adapted to the Euro 6d-Temp standard. In gasoline will have two options belonging to the family PureTech and diesel is entrusted to the range BlueHDi . All versions have a Start & Stop stop and start system to reduce consumption and emissions.

The petrol family is embodied by blocks 1.2 and > 1.6 liters PureTech . In the first case, the power is 130 HP , to move to 180 HP in the second. The diesel triple starts with the innovative 1.5 liters and culminates in the well-known 2.0 liters , yielding the same power as the gasoline alternatives. The gearboxes are manual cut with 6 ratios and, optionally, automatic by torque converter, EAT8 , with 8 speeds.

It is known that the Citroën C5 AirCross , as with the C3 AirCross, will not feature a all-wheel drive system. To make up for this absence, it will incorporate the Grip Control + Hill Assist and Descent system. Thanks to him, he will be able to face some off-road excursions, although it does not really make him an all-rounder to use.

The Start version has an equipment in which the Safety Pack or the suspension with hydraulic progressive shock absorbers are not lacking. The Live finish will add, among other things, 19-inch alloy wheels or bi-zone climate control . At the heart of the range is the Feel finish, offering the Safety Plus Pack or rear view camera. This version is limited to 300 units and will be irremediably linked to diesel mechanics 2.0 BlueHDi 180 HP with automatic transmission EAT8. To shape this version, Citroën product managers have started the Shine end. In addition, to differentiate this version, it will be dressed with the Platinum Gray tone with Black Top and Pack Color Red Anodized.
